Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. Her best-recognition was for her performance in Nashville, the 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 where she played Claudia Shepard. The year 2015 saw her was in the character of Jerrica Jem in the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is of Ally. Aubrey has been a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years in her teen years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speakers for the class of 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to allow her in for another entry since she was chosen to play 'Nashville'. Peeples was a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin & Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), and played a recurring character in Necessary roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of two TV-produced movies, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). The latter was her most prominent role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples talked about her bipolar condition in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples one of the most gifted actors under the age of 20 in September 2014.
